We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer – Sheet Metal for our automotive projects.
Missions
- Design and develop sheet metal parts and closure structures.
- Ensure the feasibility of parts and optimize design.
- Conduct testing and analysis to optimize mechanical designs.
- Manage suppliers and track the progress of technical modifications.
- Participate in Design Reviews and resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical solutions in engineering projects.
Technical skills
- Mandatory proficiency in software and engineering tools : CATIA V5/V6 and PLM (Teamcenter, Enovia, etc.), APQP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent knowledge of sheet metal mechanical design rules.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Profile
- Education : Mechanical Engineering Degree (Master's level) with solid automotive experience.
- Experience : Minimum 5 years, primarily in Sheet Metal and Closures environments.
- Qualities: Rigor, technical precision, and team spirit.
- Languages: Technical English is essential, German and Spanish are a plus.
